I have a problem with my voip provider. It is taking too much time to establish the calls, so i need to start the dial application and after that play a message “call in progress”, and return to the calling ring.

Is there any way to do it?

As far as i have seen, Playback doesn’t dial at the same time, and music on hold is not much elegant…

how about recording your own MoH files, setup a class specifically with this file, and use the m(moh-class) option with Dial ?

then the MoH file can have the announcement and you can add the ring tones.

does it start ringing at the end of the moh, or would i have to record the ring tone in the moh file?
