-bash: asteisk: command not found

Hello I’m very new in Asterisk and also in linux. I’m trying to installing asterisk on a cloud server. I flowed the server specification when installing and asterisk installed But when I trying to run asterisk server with asterisk -c this shows me -bash: asteisk: command not found. what to do now don’t understand. I googled for this but do not found any proper solution that will work. Please help me…

Assuming you have misquoted the error message, you are probably trying to run it when you have the wrong PATH environment, e.g. you are trying to run it from a non-superuser login.
