Automon files garbled

I have Asterisk 1.2.18 and zaptel 1.2.17.1 with the digium t1 card with onboard echo cancellation. When I use automon the recordings are garbled and unusable. Please see file located at: http://goshencounty.org/example.zip

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Upon closer inspection sip to sip recordings do the same thing… I guess this means it is a problem with the monitor app and not zaptel, any suggestions?
