I am interested in using Asterix for a phone survey. I would like to call patients who are recieving treatment from a clinic, play questions at them, and then have them hit #1 0r #2 for yes/no and answer scale questions from 1 - 5. Can Asterix help with this? Just need to pointed to the right portion of the documentation.

yes you can,
the wiki (voip-info.org) has lots of information. It amounts to writing a dialplan and/or AGI scripts to call the prospects, play the various recordings, collect the feedback and accumulate the data in a database. You are basically making an IVR except the call is initiated by you, as well as collecting the results of their ‘menu navigation.’
