I am experiencing a problem with Asterisk when using IP2004 telephone. I know this driver is still development. The problem I’m facing is when a call is placed between 2 phones, dialing a number on either phone will end up in the asterisk PBX playing the same DTMF tone repeatedly, to both phones. I suspect that the issue may be caused by the DTMF tone being retransmitted over and over as each handset receives it, but this is purely a guess.
Anybody else experienced this issue & any pointers on how it should be dealt with? I’ve tried some additional error checking but I cannot distinguish what the root cause of this problem is. The cycle is interrupted when either phone is placed back on the hook.
