I want to setup the Screen Sharing feature on the asterisk.
The question is, the screen sharing is done by the same module as video conferencing or no? Is it even possible to do with asterisk?
To Asterisk it’s just a different video stream coming in and being forwarded, it doesn’t know that it’s screen sharing. It’s up to the client to handle the rest.
You have to use SIPml, JsSIP for this along with Asterisk. Asterisk provides Video calling but for screenshare you have to use WebRTC client apps
