I’m experimenting with the Manager API on Asterisk 1.2 and have a couple of questions regarding the Originate function.
(I am using the reference at www.voip-info.org).
In the “specification” there is a single CallerID field, the value of which is used on both the source and target extensions; is it possible to set two seperate callerID’s?
What I’m tring to achieve is a means to place a call from my extension (say 2000) to my colleages (say 2001), but on mine for it to read (OUT)Jon and his to read Andy. That way when I’m looking at the phone I can clearly see the calls that I placed via Asterisk …
Any suggestions?
