Asterisk-core missing codecs on yum install

asterisk-core-13.3.0-1 is missing dependency libg7221codec.so.2 during yum install on centos 6

I have seen a few people have this issue but no fix.

Does anyone know how to fix this error?

I think this is a pjproject version issue.

pjproject located in epel6 wants to pull in asterisk 1.8 also found in epel6

So the answer to my issue is that the later version of pjproject found in epel6 is messing up the dependencies in asterisk 13 core and wants to pull in incompatible packages.

I think I need to open a ticket on the bug tracker to request the asterisk packages only pull in asterisk version pjproject pakages.
