Hello.
I installed asterisk in Ubuntu dapper with apt-get . But when I execute asterisk ,I have the message:
Unable to open pid file ‘/var/run/asterisk/asterisk.pid’
Any idea?

Check /var/run/asterisk/ directory permissions.
well this directory doesn’t exist. It should be created dynamically
