Asterisk 1.8 CCSS library problem

I have asterisk 1.8 installed on Suse 11.2 and appears to be ok for non CCSS operation.

If I configure a number for CCSS then I get the error message “Peer 49501 has a cc_agent_policy of ‘native’ but required libxml2 dependency is not installed. Changing policy to never”

In /usr/lib there is a link libxml2.so and a link libxml2.so.2 both pointing to libxml2.so.2.7.3.

Any idea why I am getting this error message?

Asterisk was compiled after libxml2 was installed on the machine?

What distribution?

Sorry not to reply earlier but have been away.
I found out libxml2-devel was missing.

It is now working
