Hi I’m using kubuntu 7.04, and the packages manager (adept) is updated, but the asterisk version wich i can install via adept is the 1.2, how can i do for installing the 1.4 version?

I don’t think there is a dpkg of 1.4 out there yet (that I know of). You’ll probably have to compile. There are plenty of step-by-step tutorials out there to help you with it:
