Can any one suggest me how to install Asterisk 1.4.2 on redhat 9 ?. What are the libraries we require to compile Asterisk 1.4.2 on redhat

the same as they are on any other system more or less ! although, to be quite frank, if you’re running a 2.4 kernel, i get the feeling that Asterisk support is dwindling. performance wise, i think you’re much better off with a 2.6 kernel.
