channel’s record method as far as I understand is for audio record only…
record: POST /channels/{channelId}/record
Start a recording. Record audio from a channel. Note that this will not capture audio sent to the channel. The bridge itself has a record feature if that’s what you want.
Video recording and playback while kind of supported in Asterisk hasn’t really been a huge focus for anyone, so that may or may not actually record video.
