Thats no so yeah why is this damn application not @lest giving me fax tones

nothing spandsp is not running. i will pay someone what little have to help me get this fixed so i can keep my job please help.

there is no POTS lines in the office everything is being handled by * with SIP, and IAX trunks i have going to it.

Hey I had to do this in order to get it to work:

rxfax(${FAXFILE}|debug)

I had to add the |debug to the extension .

Doing this solved the problem and actually didnt debug anything – SPANdsp faxing is kinda buggy as you can see

I have built another box, and loaded up another * box. same deal on this seperate machine. I have to be doing something else wrong

the number is 813 441 0458

i ocasionally get this scratching type sound but thats about it…not anything that could be contrued as a fax tone… unless their is a way to boost output volume

BTW yes i tried suggestion of adding |debug same deal

if its going to cost you your job, DONT USE ASTERISK TO FAX. i cant begin to describe how many forums / mailing lists ive read that said asterisk is buggy with faxing dont use it. use a seperate line and plug it into the fax. dont have one? get one…
