13 Not Answering SIP Calls [SOLVED]

Hello,

I have just upgraded an installation of Asterisk 11 to Asterisk 13 and the system stopped answering SIP calls inbound to the sample IVR. I have also tried an installation from scratch and get the same result. I did not change anything on the system config (except installing missing libraries for the upgrade) and upon the restart of asterisk it is simply not accepting calls.

I am on Ubuntu 14.04 and attempting to call from soft phones as well as a polycom and a snom all on the same network.

I went back and investigated my installed options and for whatever reason Chan_SIP did not have it’s dependencies met, even though it was successfully running with Asterisk 11. I met the dependencies and rebuilt and it’s working now.
