1 G729 questions

Hello

I have two questions about the G729 codec:
1- for a ccard server, orig and term is SIP. If the prompts are recorded in g729 and both the orig and terminacion is G729 do I need a license?
2- if I install the license on a server, and move later on to another server, do I keep the previous bought licenses or do I have to purchase them again?

  1. Technically yes. It is not always perfect.
  2. You should be able to but you will need to contact digium.
