We have 2 of these phones from zyxel that we are experimenting with.
I have successfully setup the Cisco 7960 and a handfull of different softphones but this one just does not want to behave.
I updated the firmware to the latest from zyxel and set the sip settings all to point to the server ( This should be a no brainer???) .
The extension and password are set properly.
It just doesn’t want to work.
I noticed the phone always says “unregistered” and I don’t know what that indicates.
I have tried this with 3 asterisk servers (all trixbox if that makes a difference). This really has me stumped.
