X-Header on SIP BYE

Hello,
I would need a functionality to send an X-Header with the SIP BYE message. Is this already possible? If not, is there a way to implement this ourselves - probably with some (paid) support?

The reason for this is that on hangup we want to communicate the IVR-action selected in the call back to the IVR that forwarded the call to us.

Neither chan_sip or chan_pjsip allow adding headers to anything but the INVITE request. You can post a bug bounty[1] but there is no guarantee anyone will take you up on it.
