Why Dahdi hangup delays 10 seconds to hangup?

Hi. When someone call to my PBX, when are listeting the IVR Options, if you hangup, i don’t see the hangup inmediatly in the CLI, 10 seconds after real HANGUP, the asterisk detect the hangup and procced to hangup the line.

Using fedora core
dahdi
asterisk-1.8.x
TDM400P

The Carrier sends the reverse polarity, I ask it, and they tell me yes.

Also check your busydetec and busycount settings in the chan_dahdi.conf file.

You can verify that your provider is sending the polarity reversal by:

echo 1 > /sys/module/wctdm/parameters/debug

And then looking for “Polarity reversed” messages in the output of dmesg.
