Could anyone told me what is the database for the asterisk and how to set it up? Thanks!!
asterisk database is a berkeley style db that stores things like agent logins, SIP registrations, blacklists, etc. it’s stored in /var/lib/asterisk/astdb as i recall.
unless you mean asterisk realtime, which is configuring asterisk from a sql or other databsed…

I think the answer i want is a real database system like mysql, postgress or oracle. Someone can tell me which database system can I use with asterisk ?
Start from README.realtime (or realtime.txt if 1.4) under doc/ in your source tree.
