I’ve been looking as set app_rpt in my asterisk 11, but can not find rpt.conf
Already this application is not available?
I want to setup Asterisk for RoIP (Radio over IP).
Thanks for your comments
According to the Asterisk 11 changelog the rpt.conf.sample was removed as it comes from the maintainers of that project and not from the asterisk core team.

So can the app_rpt be added back into asterisk for version 13? if so how does one go about that…will doing ’ yum install app_rpt" do the job or not? I need to bring Asterisk software being used on several servers for radio dispatch and repeater controllers up to date and if app_rpt is not available I can not do that…
Thanks

Contact the maintainers and ask them to provide you with a package compatible with your main package.
Alternatively ask them to use the main Asterisk source management system, however, I assume there was a reason for them to cease using it.
From the Asterisk project’s perspective, app_rpt and chan_usbradio are dead. They were not maintained, they no longer compiled, and no one active in the project wanted to maintain them.
If someone wanted to add them back to the project, they could, subject to the CLA, the project guidelines, and their willingness to maintain the modules.
I would suspect, however, that doing this would be a non-trivial effort.
Can one advise whom the “maintainers” are and where one might contact them please?
I would really like to update/upgrade to the newer Asterisk, not that the current one I am using not working as it has been for five years now without a problem… Fixing to have to replace a few servers and thought it would be good to get up to date… maybe not…
Thank you all for your quick response… it’s appreciated…

There are no active maintainers, or if there are, they aren’t known to the project.
A quick Google of “app_rpt asterisk” yields some sites - but I can’t make any recommendations regarding any of them. You’ll need to do your own investigation.
Thank you sir… I googled that and found what I needed to know so hopefully I can upgrade soon…
Once again, Thanks to all
