Website reset password with this error

hello：
I used my other account for long time, but I forgot the password. I reset the password, and received the reset password link. but when I click the link, the community forum shows error:

The reset password token you have provided has timed out.

I have tried few times, all the results are same. I think the forum has some problems, the problem looks this:

please help to check the reset problem. I want to use the previous account in future.

Was your previous account from when this was a completely separate forum? If so as part of the migration it was cloned into the current system, but is inactive as passwords and other data could not be copied.
