Just wanted to know is it worth joining one of the asterisk mailing lists if I am already registered in this web forum. Is information here and in the maillist duplicated?
no, and the asterisk-users mailling list has a MUCH more detailed discussion - the hardcore guys think that forums are for newbs and script-kiddies (or so i’ve been told).
the mailing list isn’t as easy to peruse or search, but there is a WEALTH of information on it.
