I’ve been trying to find a mousetrap to recording voicemails to ramdrive without storing the whole vm directory on the ramdrive. All I can seem to come up with is to change the path where voicemails are being recorded in realtime, currently /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail///tmp, to a location mounted on a ramdrive. I’ve poured over source files to see if this is an easy change and have no luck whatsoever.
wondering if anyone can give any insight as to how this could be done. again, just looking to change the location of the tmp folder where vm recordings are spooled to while they are being recorded. With all things being constant, once the recording ends, * should move it to the location it normally does.
