I would like to get in contact with a business development representative at Sangoma/Asterisk to discuss potential collaboration on new functionality enabling a visual IVR experience on smartphones.
At Ericsson, we are currently developing a concept that allows mobile operators to present web-based content directly within smartphone dialers during voice calls. This capability enables enterprises to display customized web content when customers call their contact centers over a mobile network, using SIP trunking.
We have already explored and demonstrated several use cases in our labs, using pre-commercial devices from Samsung. Based on this progress, we are now looking to engage with established enterprise solution vendors.
One of the initial use cases we would like to pursue is a visual IVR solution, where interactive menu options are presented as clickable elements on the screen, synchronized with the corresponding voice prompts (see example below). We are particularly interested in discussing this with someone who can develop the required functionality on the Asterisk platform.
