We’ve been working with Asterisk for a long time and we have a development team that wants to extend the capability of Asterisk into a useful application on tablet/smartphone platforms – We’ve been brainstorming but nothing great has come up.
Besides creating a SIP client which there is a handful (granted most of them are terrible). What are some useful ideas that you like to see that would use Asterisk on these new mobile platforms of the future? Keep in mind we want to develop an app native to the device and not just simply extending what can be done on a Webapp which all these devices will be online and can access already.
