Video endpoint calling to audio-only endpoint

I have successfully setup video support on our 1.2.4 system. The problem I’m currently having is that calls from an EP that supports video, to an EP that does not, still is negotiating video codecs for the call.

In the [general] tab, I’m setting videosupport=yes, but not including the video codec support parms. Instead, I specify these per each video EP in sip.conf.

We’re using a HW A/V MCU platform. There are ports specified as audio-only, and ports specified as audio/video. Right now, all calls are consuming video ports, regardless of whether the phone supports video. This is expensive, and disallows us to use the audio ports.

Has anyone else run into this?
