Upgrading tar.gz (solve)

ok sir thank you very much for the advice.
this will not harm my FreeTDS for SybaseASE right?

right. The Makefile controls what components get compiled into Asterisk. If you remove one from the Makefile it will not attempt to build taht module (and its resulting functionality) into Asterisk on your system. So if you remove the TDS module, the result will be your Asterisk will not have TDS support, but your system’s TDS will be left alone.

If you need this functionality in the future you can upgrade your TDS packages and then recompile * with a fresh Makefile.

Great!!

i now have my new Zaptel-1.2.15 and Asterisk-1.2.16
but when did a reload i receive new error about zaptel transcoder support

what is this all about ?
i have TE110p configured as T1 with Rhino Cbank with 8FXO and 16 FXS which when i modprobe has no problem

those can be safely ignored.

the first two are not even warnings. the ignoring signalling bit just means either 1. you have defined signalling= more that once and one is being ignored, or that you only reloaded asterisk and signalling changes need a restart. the last one means you don’t have a Digium TC400B Codec Offload Board and thus no zaptel-based transcoding is available (which is fine because asterisk can transcode on its own).

ok now i have my lates verison of zaptel and asterisk.
remember the reason of upgrading the the software? is to use HPEC
during my first reinstallation which i confirmed that its running (the latest)
i wasn able to load the HPEC and the cosole said the built has no hpec support
so i did again reisntalling the zaptel
but now when i did
zaptel modprobe i received this erro

i already set “m” for my “CONFIG_CRC_CCITT”
and when i did dmesg i have this in the later part

now asterisk is not working and cannot call

This is solve thank you very much
