After a long time running a very old AsteriskNow install (the rpath version 1.0.2), finally the hard disk is full and needs to be replaced so its upgrade time.
First off will my configuration files work on the new installation (current files are from asterisk 1.4.18.1).
The Plan is to build a new install but to then transfer over the configuration from the current install to maintain the functionality.
I am thinking of upgrading to AsteriskNow 1.7, but may install the asterisk 1.8 upgrade on top before configuring the box.
any tips as to how to restore the system configuration, or to update the config ready for use ?
