Upgrade from 1.0 to 1.2.4 breaks incoming calls via IAX2

Hi!

I’m using IAX2 and connected through VoicePulse. When I upgraded to
1.2.4 last night, I no longer can receive incoming calls. I can make
outgoing calls though just fine.

Also, VoicePulse shows up in my iax2 registry and when I turn on iax2, I can
see periodic registry packets. I have also looked over the UPGRADE.txt and
do not think its relevant. Has anyone seen this before and know how to fix it or
what is the next step for debugging this?

Thanks,

Bobby

Does the CLI show anything when the call is coming in?

Hi!
When I enable iax2 debug, I see some an AUTHREP and then an ACK and then a REJECT while making a call to my asterisk box. I dont know the iax2 protocol well enough to know how this has been caused. I
did not modify my config files at all and they may be the problem. However, I’m wondering
if something changed with registration.

Thanks,

Bobby

Found this but not much help

UPGRADING FROM VERSION 1.0

If you are updating from a previous version of Asterisk, make sure you
read the UPGRADE.txt file in the source directory. There are some files
and configuration options that you will have to change, even though we
made every effort possible to maintain backwards compatibility

Hi!

I neglected to mention that I also upgraded my hardware/machine. In the process
of upgrading systems, I failed to copy the voicepulse01.pub from my old
system to the new system. The new machine/software combo still said
I was registered to voicepulse but the AUTREP and REJECT started me wondering
about it.

So, re-installing the voicepulse public key and re-starting asterisk fixed the problem.

Thanks,

Bobby
