Unable to attach to transcoder

It’s only 11:57am. We have been open and answering calls since 8:00am. I already have 61,287 lines of the following error in my full log…

ERROR[1336]: codec_dahdi.c:440 dahdi_translate: Unable to attach to transcoder: Device or resource busy

I know this is because we are overloading our g729 transcoder card, however I would like to know if this is causing a problem or if the call is simply falling over to ulaw…
