We are having intermittent dial out problems on our TDM400. Most of the time it gives us the failed call recording from telco stating that we need to dial a one for that number. But if we keep trying the same number it works once in a while. This fails pretty much 99% of the time. If we put a POTS phone on the circuit it dials out just fine 100% of the time.
Does anyone have any ideas about where to start. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
Hi
This is a common problem. you need to add a wait/pause before you dial the number.
Basicly the card is faster than you CO exchange

That’s what I thought as I remember version 1.0 actually had a wait parameter in one of the board config files but I can’t find anything similar to that old config entry anywhere. Where do I configure the delay now ?
Thanks,
Mike
Never mind I did also remember that you can add delay at the point of dialing instead of that old generic wait before dial delay. So I found my outbound dialing macro and added a few ‘w’ s in the Dial() command line and so now it seems to work much better now.
Thanks again,
Mike
