When someone reaches my voicemail they hear my voicemail which is fine, but then after my voicemail I get this message “when done press #, etc”
How can I take off that last message?

I suspect the aa50 is commercially supported, in which case you are in the wrong place. For the open source version, replace the sound file with a zero length one, or edit the relevant bit out of the source code.
zero length one? You mean an empty sound file?
Yes. I was trying to make the distinction between a zero bytes file and a validly formed sound file of zero duration, but just confused matters by using length, rather than duration.
Do you know the name of this file or the relevant bit?
