Config files have support to read system env variables?

Not in general. Dialplans can, obviously, do so, at run time.

  1. The #exec construct may be useful.

  2. A script that executes on boot (or Asterisk start) that creates a config snippet that could be #included.

  3. An AGI that returns channel variables containing ‘system env variables?’

More details would allow more useful answers – better bait yields better fish :slight_smile:
