Strange IAX problem?

Hello Everyone,

I have for years a strange problem that I was never able to solve:
Sometimes IAX is working very well, sometimes not at all !
And this, exactly between the same places in the same conditions…

In the soft phone (Zoiper) it says “Registering” and then it fails, but when it works, it works perfectly ?

If someone had some advice or solution it would be wonderful

is zoiper on the same LAN segment as the server or remote?

Howdy,

Support for 1.0.x Asterisk versions has ended a long time ago. The supported status of the various versions is listed here:

asterisk.org/asterisk-versions

The 1.0-series is not on that list, because support for it has long-ago ended.

If you can reproduce the bug on (currently) 1.4, 1.6.2, or 1.8-betaX, then the problem can be looked at.
