SMS only

Hi,

I would like to be able to send and receive SMS from my Linux machine, but do not need any other telephone functionality.

Is it possible to use Asterisk (using the smsq command) to achive this - if possible using an ISDN modem (internal) only?

Compiling Asterisk 1.2.1 worked fine, as did compiling smsq.
Unfortunately I am stuck with the configuration (hoping its possible at all).

Btw, I live in Germany, using T-Com as provider.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

solved this myself now…

This took a few steps, as I had to include CHAN_CHAPI, change the source-code of smsq.c, as well learn bit about the syntax and grammar of Asterisk config-files :wink:,
