I have this issue, some sip peer replicates every re-registration. It doesn’t happen with all peers. sip show peers shows me thousands of entries of the same peer. I’m using Asterisk certified/13.21-cert3. I undestand this is a bug.
Thanks for reporting your issue, but you really haven’t provided enough information for us to help you in an efficient manner. Can you please tell us a bit more about your setup – are you using static config files, or realtime? Are you using chan_pjsip, or chan_sip? Are there relevant entries from the Asterisk logs (or CLI debugging output) that you think are relevant? Can you provide SIP traces?
I’m using realtime, chan_sip. I attach a sip trace of two of the peers that replicate. The peers are 02344430668 and 02344430642. During the period of the log the 02344430642 replicated 13 times and 02344430668 six times.
