I would like to ask if asterisk is capable of making a peer to peer SIP call? like in skype… Also, how can you make calls secured/encrypted? Thanks in advance…
In short, yes. By default, Asterisk stays out of voice path, if that’s what you mean by peer to peer. If you want to send SIP messages from peer to peer, you never needed Asterisk.
