Simple Newbie Question

Can Asterisk be set up to route an incoming call coming from an ISDN line to a VOIP application/device? i.e. you have a number 9867 3456 that someone dials from outside your company, the call comes in across your ISDN line, Asterisk identifies the number and sees that it is associated with a particular IP address associated with a VOIP device and then routes it through to that device.

If so would this be configured in the dialing plan?

Cheers, Ian

Yes

As far as the number routing yes in extensions.conf. The voip device will need to be configured according to what it uses if sip then you will have to configure the sip.conf for it. The isdn im not for usre about configuring but more than likely these 2 files zaptel.conf and zapata.conf
