rxFax application missing

Hi,

I am using asterisk 1.4 and Fedora 7. When I make it I can see that the application rxFax is compiled and when I use “make menuselect” The rxFax application is present and selected in the list.

However when I start asterisk and run “core show applications” it does not appear. Any ideas why this might be?

I haven’t alot of asterisk experience so it might be something very obvious which I’m missing…

OK fixed,

the issue was spanDSP (Which is needed by the rxFax application) had compiled into /usr/local/lib however asterisk was looking for it in /usr/lib.

Simply copied the file (libspandsp.so) from the /usr/local/lib to /usr/lib and job done :smiley:
