Regarding Dialplan script


I am new to Asterisk.Please let me know if I want to develop IVR system using Dialplan script whether I need only programming Or I need recorded voice messages for the same.

Please send me URL of more detail for my study purpose.

IVR stands for “Interactive Voice Response,” so “voice” prompts are part of the equation.

There are a number of prompts provided with Asterisk in the -core and -extras sound packages. If you need prompts other than the provided ones, you’ll have to record them.
