I’m getting a Red Alarm on the first ring of almost every call on a particular telephone line. I have a Wildcard A4A with 4 FXO ports. Three of the ports are connected to POTS lines from the phone company (one is empty). If I move the inputs around, the problem follows the telephone number.
My searching seems to indicate that a red alarm is a signaling problem from the phone company. What do I tell the phone company is wrong so they understand it enough to make the appropriate changes (or escalate it to someone who does)?
