Queue and SIP trunk/channels - Invalid member

gnscasterisk1*CLI> show queue qXYZ
qXYZ has 0 calls (max unlimited) in ‘rrmemory’ strategy (0s holdtime), W:0, C:0, A:0, SL:0.0% within 60s
Members:
SIP/CISCO_GWLB/16315551999 (dynamic) (Invalid) has taken no calls yet
No Callers

Queue parameter setting (joinempty=no).

This causes the queue to think it has no agent in it. Queue has no issue to ring the “invalid” queue member once the queue is open Easy fix would be to set queue param joinempty=yes to allow the caller in queue. . How can I force the queue to recognize this format of SIP channel? The alternative is rewriting my dialplan codebase to use SIP/16315551999@CISCO_GWLB which I like to avoid. Using Asterisk Digium Rev C (aka 1.4.x)
