I installed asterisk and configured but unfortunately I can’t find any useable howto about qos and astersik. Could anybody help me with a useable solution or any links? (I’m not expert in linux.) I use debian with 2.6 kernel, and softphones(X-lite)
i believe by default asterisk will set the lowdelay bit in the IP TOS header for outgoing packets, so if your firewall can be made to honor that… or just prioritize the packets from the * box…
