PRI Line reset and call drop

Hi All,

I’m running asterisk 1.4.5 with Zaptel 1.4.6 (just upgraded, previously 1.4.5). Every now and then all channels on the PRI line get reseted and all active calls are droppped abruptly(at the same time). When I connect the same PRI line to my epbx system everything goes fine (No call drop, thus: not a PRI line issue). Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is this something to do with my asterisk configuration or a faulty card (TE110)

Hi

Your config shouldnt be droping calls but as it is, it will reset every 3600 seconds or so.

Also in almost all cases in the UK (which is what your loadzone is set to) we have crc4 enabled on the line. who is the pri from?

I have a working config at cyber-cottage.co.uk/wiki/ind … k_and_isdn

set the reset interval to never and possible enable crc4 and see how it goes,

I’m located in India and my telco is BSNL. I have tried setting the resetinterval=never, but that does not help (rather the call drop is more frequent). I will be happy if the line stays stable for an hour and then reset (3600 sec) but as of now its reseting every 7-8 minutes.

With CRC enabled, the span does not come up.
