Play greet message in db with Background app?

Hi,

We are using voicemail ODBC with Asterisk 14.4.
Is there a way to play a greet message from the voicemail_messages table with the background app?
I know I could do it with an AGI but I’d prefer to do it in my dialplan.
I think VoiceMailPlayMsg can play message by msg_id but greet messages do not have any msg_id.

The Background application does not have access to the database and backend that app_voicemail uses. Only app_voicemail can use it.
