Pickup Groups not working

I have 3 departments, 1 2 and 3

I have enabled the pickup feature in features.conf and am using *8

In sip.conf I have added the lines for the relevant extensions

callgroup=1
pickupgroup=1

callgroup=2
pickupgroup=2

callgroup=3
pickupgroup=3

The only pickup group working is callgroup=1 Callgroup2 and 3 do not work. Can anyone help?

I’d say you are trying to pick up a call from an extension outside the permitted group. This is a common error.
Also look at implementing directed call pickup “PickUp()”

If thats not the case, can you post the output from asterisk cli when you dial *8 pelase? This will help find the problem.
