Phone rings only once

Hi All

I have a Grandstream HT386 ATA working with Asterisk,

the problem is that when I make a call to the ATA the
phone that is connected to it only rings once, however the
calling phone keeps giving ringing signal and I can answer the call
until it is hung up.

Does anybody know what causes this and how to fix…?

I had the same problem with an old analog phone that needed more power than my exteral ATA (Sipura-3000) can send to the phone.

Have you tried another phone ?

Well its working now, I changed some settings in the ATA
so its not an Asterisk issue…
