Outgoing Calls - not found

Ack! I can accept incoming calls no problem.

AsteriskNOW latest beta, a single Digium X100p and a Vonage account.

Simply trying to get any sort of outgoing call to work out of the POTS line, but softphone just says Not Found.

the log on my box says - warning ast_request: no channel type registered for ‘’

unable to create channel of type ‘’ (cause 66 - channel not implemented)

I know this is telling me something - but I am a newbie to asterisk and don’t know what to do!

Dont know AstNOW, but if you trying to send call out via POTS line, the channeltype should be ZAP.
so look where ZAP channels are setup/configured, maybe you missed something.
