Outbound call with Only one ring?

Hello,

I want to dial out calls, but there should be only one ring. After completion of one ring the call should disconnect automatically.

If I gave the timeout in Dial command then it will include the connection time as well. But I want to have fixed duration of Ring only.

Will you please guide me for the same ?

I tried U(x) of Dial as below. I have tried the dial parameters. But cant help.

exten => s,n,ChanIsAvail(${MYCHANNEL})
exten => s,n,Set(MYSTATUS=${AVAILSTATUS})
exten => s,n,NoOp(============== IN TEST ======================)

Will you please guide me how can I dial out a call with only one ring and after one ring, hangup the call.

There is no way you can guarantee a specific number of rings, because the ringing is generated asynchronously, sometimes in the destination device.

Why do you want to do this? I’m having difficulties thinking of reasons that aren’t breaches of privacy or breaches of fair usage.
